What have I become? What am I now? I hunger for it. I crave. I can’t stop shaking. I can’t face my reflection. Blood drips from my chin. I am an animal. Scars on my face I’ve created myself to try to numb the pain of transmutation… I don’t know what I am. But join me… Let me show you that what I am is more than what you are. Let me feast on you. Let yourself become like me. Take my hand brother… what have I become?

They’re out there. Somewhere. I know they’re alive. They have to be. Clinging on to this hope keeps me alive. They understood, somehow they understood my confused phonecall, and got to safety in time. They had to. They’re alive and out there. They’re waiting for me. I need to go and find them… But my dear wife, my dear daughter… To try and find you now is suicide. It’s darker now than ever before. When animalistic humans eat their own flesh… I cannot leave here. I drank all of my bourbon. Shit…

We don’t know what happened. We don’t know how they came to be. But they’re out there. They were human… once. Now they’re something more animalistic. One thing’s for certain. There is no such thing as safe. My name is Josh. I’ve been running my whole life. Trying to survive in this crazy world. Running from them. I never knew my mother. I lost my father. I lost my brother. I lost my best friend. I’ve got nothing now. And still this cold world keeps on taking. There’s only one thing left to do. Survive. Survive the human existence, and what it’s come to be. RUN!
